Bad Bunny's historical Super Bowl LX halftime show had literally everything: including an actual wedding ceremony.
Multiple outlets including The New York Times have confirmed that the bride and groom featured in the show are a real-life couple, who shared a kiss as newlyweds before separating to reveal—surprise!—Lady Gaga. Meanwhile, the couple sat next to their cake as a child slept across chairs—moments straight out of a wedding reception.
Per the New York Times, "the couple had invited Bad Bunny to their planned wedding" and "in response, they received an invitation to be part of his halftime show and were married there, with Bad Bunny serving as a witness and signing their marriage certificate."
The identity of the couple has been kept under wraps thus far, but the bride's dress was designed by Hayley Paige, who confirmed to the New York Times that "she had been asked to supply a few dresses in January, but did not know until the last minute that her dress would be worn during the show."
"It wasn’t just a performance," she said. "It was for a real moment for a girl to just have a time of joy and say yes to her person. It’s the best game there is, the best sporting event there is: It’s love."
